Got an "authoring" problem error (see atch). I also installed Express Burn (by NCH) thinking maybe a 3rd party burner would do it. Tried it in FormatFactory, and was convereted to WMV but no title, chapters, or transitions (which is what I am trying to do). I imported it to PD10, produced it as MPEG2. Next, I took the original video (#5 of 7), saved it to a new folder, imported to PD10, thinking may the 1st copy was bad. Tried to format using the video I edited in PD10. Tried changing the burn speed to the slowest. I followed the link in dave456's response.

I always get the error code eEB020B8D during the authoring process and it doesn't go into the burning. I have tried them all and still not able to get the videos burned. I appreciate all the suggestions provided by bubba, dave456, and jerrys. I'm open to anyone who might have a reason why. I want to reopen this post as I'm still without a clue why, all of a sudden, I'm unable to produce/burn the last three videos of my 2010 vacation in Laos. Just wondering if I'm doing to have this problem with any other videos from my camcorder. Hate to scrap my project at this point but don't see any other alternative. I then imported 16 music video clips, produced and burned them without a hitch.ĭon't understand why everything was working fine on the first 4 videos but went south after that. I then checked for any updates on the burner. Tried it without any changes (title, chapters, transitions), produced it.

Added the title, chapters, and transitions, produced it. Thining it might be the video itself (#5 of 7), I again deleted it, then imported #6 video. Next, I delelted everything, reimported the video from scratch, produced it and still got the same error at the end of the authoring point. So, I went back to PD10, deleted the title. It shows the title (which has motion) freezing but the audio continuing. I then opened the production in a 3rd party player. What I did was delete all productions/videos still in PD10 file. Disc is always blank after I get the error.

I'm "fortunate" for that because it doesn't start any burning and, therefore, I'm not making a lot of drink coasters. Didn't see anything there pertinent because I don't get the error in the burn stage. It always happens after the "authoring" stage and prior to the burn stage.
